Biography - Stéphanie Malossane

Since her studies in textile art and printing at Dupérré School in Paris and Central Saint Martins in London where she gained her Masters with distinction in 1993, Stephanie’s work has been developed around the memory theme; light and superposition of times. Bases in London in the 90 s her work has been recognized on the London scene of “Best British Design”. Her unique textile panels and prints mixing dying, screen-printing and historical photographic printing processes rewarded her with international well known orders. It is in 2000 that she presented her first oil and mixed photography paintings which she continues to develop now. Her first collection of digital photographies in limited edition « sea blur” was created in 2011 as well as the production of the “Moon” round canvas paintings visible at night by phosphorescence.  The “voiles” (photography on voile and paper) will appear in 2014. In 2017 she decide to explore and research the « therapeutic » effects of a painting.
